MISSION

Is to create and provide an affordable platform for top-class entry-level in the open-wheel single-seater for our inspiring racing driver's in the world. We will aim to place the world’s foremost single-seat racing series at the cutting edge of automotive technology development, while at the same time preserving the culture of innovation and capacity to thrill that have been at the heart of the sport since its earliest days.

ABOUT US

Retlafenya Ramphenyane is the founder of Ramphenyane Racing Group (Pty) Ltd . First time I saw Great Ayrton Senna putting his 1990 MP4/5 McLaren F1 on pole in the Monaco Grand Prix and him winning the race, I knew I had to be involved in open-single-seater racing cars. After finishing school I immediately enrolled in the Mercedes-Benz Mechanical Apprentice after qualifying in 2008 I worked for Sasol BMW South African Touring Cars. And I have always had a burning desire to become an entrepreneur so I went to explore all with my abilities and I learned a lot in the outside world. The passion that i have always had for single-seater racing was still burning. And in 2018 I decided that I could no longer take the pain of sitting on the fence. I decided to pull all my passion, energy and the experience I have learned as an entrepreneur that i will dedicate it to open-wheel single seater racing to start from karting the grass root level. 

Our passion in racing is solely on open-wheel single seater racing cars and racing drivers innovation and to identify, create, promote and market young talented boys and girls to the top of open wheel-single seater racing category from CIK-FIA Karting, FIA F4 National Championships, FIA Regional Championships,  FIA F3 Championship, FIA F2 Championship and FIA F1 Championship 

Our development stages will be to harness their mental and physical preparation into a complete racing driver's and manage their growth and development in building relationships with their machinery, set-ups with the engineer's, team crew's, to be eloquent with sponsorship partner's and increasing our fan base throughout the world. Senna quote “I discovered this extraordinary sensation being first, the fastest, the winner. It is a stronger emotion than mere speed.” As a team we will apply our personalities in motor racing  and it will be one of our best qualities and our motivational factor to keep us pushing forever.
